Frequently asked questions

Do I need an internet connection?

No. Pentivo plays fully offline. A connection is only used for optional Game Center features and for ads.

What makes a move valid?

Tiles go in one row or one column as a continuous span. Every line the move touches must have 2 to 5 tiles and a sum that is a multiple of five. The first move covers the centre; later moves connect to existing tiles.

How do Hint, Refresh and Joker work?

Each player gets each aid free once per match. After that you can earn more by watching an optional rewarded ad. If an ad fails or you close it early, nothing is spent.

How does two-player mode keep racks private?

After each move the app shows a handover screen. The next player taps “Show my tiles” only once they hold the device.

Why don't my Game Center scores update?

Make sure you are signed in to Game Center in iOS Settings. Only completed matches against the CPU count, and conceded matches never do.

How do I change my ad privacy choices?

When consent options apply in your region, a privacy options button appears on the home screen.

How do I reset my progress?

Match history and stats are stored on your device. Deleting the app removes them.
